Day 2 of Re:Union

On the last post was about to start on day 2 (whole day) of Re:Union, (yah we arrived late) and Pr Sam was already about to finish his message. but this is what I caught from the few minutes I was there, he talked about favoritism, that it's something that should be eliminated from the church, workplace, campuses or wherever we are. Going to the next level means getting rid of favoritism. 2Samuel 5:12 God's people matter the most, it's all about God not man.

There was another speaker named Lim Heng Seng, he was talking about the law of the time, it was interesting because I've studied a bit of law and for somebody whose clueless on law would think the talk was boring. I could relate things cause I've been to east Malaysia and I've seen the situation that side. There are a lot of Christians in  East Malaysia so the government is trying to change them or something (not too sure) initially east Malaysia was suppose to a country on it's own. (I wasn't taking notes, I'm just typing out whatever I remember). Basically they are fighting for the rights of Christians in Sarawak and Sabah.

Breakout sessions I attended the Campus Revo, led by Pr Dave. He explained the values which are conviction, courage, commitment and continuity. Campus Revo is about living out loud your christian life, loving  your campus, it's all about making a difference in your campus!

Re:union a.k.a R3volution conference was bigger and better this year (not meaning that the previous ones weren't good). Re:union was happening from the 2-4June then we had Re:union Sunday on the 5th. The whole experience was great, was really inspired by every speaker and every event from worship to workshops to serving. I was serving the whole weekend from Thursday until Sunday, I attended all the whole day sessions it was really good. The theme for this year was TAKING IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL. On the first day during Revo P.A.R.T.Y (Preaching About Revival Through Youth) pastor Kenneth spoke, he talked on Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen" KJV He told us that God is in control of everything and wants to take us to the next level if we allow him. I like the part when he said that God doesn't work in centuries and decades nowadays he works in hours, days, weeks and months. He talked about confidence that we need to be confident in the Lord. He left us with 5 points on how to be confident 1) Encounter God 2) Employment 3) Empowerment 4) Exchange 5) Excuses ( this one happens to most us, even moses had excuses when the Lord wanted to take him to the next level by sending him to deliver His people from Egypt Exodus 3:11)
The lesson which I got from this teaching was that lack of confidence and excuses wont get us to the next level.

Day 2 hahaha well i'm laughing because we arrived late, I was with Martin the van had left us behind I blame Olerato Maleme for that.

Betrayal

Have you ever felt that you've been back stabbed, used, and your hopes have been disappointed? Well I have! But it's good not that I'm able to talk about, it was a good cause just like what pastor Kenneth preached on Re:Union Sunday that you shouldn't let disappointments break you, (lets reserve Re:Union Sunday for later). I hate being lied to, why don't just come with me, hurt my feelings if you have to don't try to reserve them by lying  please tell the truth to avoid a bigger embarrassment when finally the truth comes out at the end. The truth sets free, you can enjoy your life openly without being bothered out the lies you told some else. You can even sleep at night. Being honest makes you part of the society and people can see you as a person who can well with other people.
I hate it when people make my life a living hell and I don't want to believe that my life can be a living.
I guess this is my continuation to my last post on estrangement, tell the truth nor how hard it can be, Jesus is real and He loves you so much.

Estrangement

Estrange by dictionary definition means to turn away in feeling or affection, make unfriendly and hostile. Yah exactly what is happening to me at the moment.
 Before we were very good friends, now when we see each other you wish the earth would just open up and swallow you. Its not like I hate you or something I don't hate you I just don't want us to live hard lives wishing everyday that we don't meet along the way or anywhere. I don't want that.
I know that we divided not in good terms and everyone is living their lives however they want and sometimes it feels like I'm stopping you from being yourself because of my presence. I don't to be a hindrance in your life. There will be times when you really need something from me or I need something from you, we won't ask cause we'll be having too much pride and rather give and thus destroying whatever we'll be working on. Please at least lets come to a mutual agreement.

outside and inside are not the same

People believe that my life is perfect, but let me tell you something there is nothing like a perfect life. It may seem perfect on the eyes of other people but all jumbled in real. How you handle things, those trials and tribulations that may arise in your life makes your life perfect.

My life is so predictable, I always know what I'm going to do for the day, and how my week will end. somebody was telling me the other day wow Elsie you're living a good not so boring life, then I was you don't know my life is so boring and turn to lose interest on things so easily but that doesn't bother me, I'm used to it already. Then I told them how my life is like a programmed machine I do the same thing almost everyday. He was amazed and found it hard to believe. But it's true, I'm enjoying it not all the time though. there are always ups and downs in life....when life throw a chocolate at you eat it!!

Dirty Lil Secret

Apparently I have a dirty secret which I thought nobody knew about, and it ended up landing in the wrong hands of Monkey Lesetedi. She won't tell me what it is, and she is releasing a song on it LOL, can't wait to hear it. For now she is looking for a producer to help her polish her voice and the song will be out in the market kwaaaaakwaaaa I hate this laughter but I feel like laughing like this right now.

I don't play dirty, she got me thinking hard and I'm already starting to think there is nothing she just want to mess up with my mind....

Goodwill, PUP, R.E

I wrote Financial Statement 2 today, it was fine but then if you were expecting something tougher, it was hard for me to get my act together because the lecturer always told us how hard the exam is. I have tried my very best to answer the theory questions accordingly, I hadn't really given in on the calculations part I tried my very best to do them, they were way to easy honestly. That was a free A give away just like that and I lost it, I'm praying for the best, that I don't re-take the subject atleast. Atleast B wa bofelo ga gotwe go padile hle bathong... I hate saying cause the results always come the exact opposite :-(

People believe that accounting is easy cause they don't know what they are talking about, my lecturer always said ''if somebody told you that accounting was easy, they were lying to you, and if you can't calculate the cost of goodwill right now you're in big trouble, consider changing course, go do marketing or something else'' hahahahaha true story! Yeah back then in high school, foundation year and year 1 it was easy I could do those things in my sleep, nowadays the higher the tougher. But I don't want to take this mind that accounting is hard.

I'm suppose to study for Corporate Finance right I just don't have the energy and morale to study, but I know it's the toughest and I'm weak at it. For Corporate Finance I just want to go through to the next level.....
