The Truth Without Photoshop

This has really touched me last night; a friend of mine sent it to me. I shed a tear watching it. Thought maybe I could share it with you.

God is always there for us no matter how much the devil may attack us and bring us down; God will always come forth for us. We may look good on the outside, putting on our best smiles, but deep down we hold so much pain. And God is there with us.

Lemme not spoil it you listen and enjoy, hope it touches your heart too and bring about change in your life.

its my birthday month!

I know my birthday is over already but I was so busy with school that I didn't have time to make an update beginning of month, but anyway I'm almost done with all my assignments and will be getting ready for my exam very soon.

Well it was my birthday yesterday my bad on Sunday 6th November feels like yesterday because it was really great. I was going 18 this year i mean 22, 22 ain't bad right? Still young, I can still do a lot of things like sky diving and bungee jumping, yes, no, maybe!?!

I thank God for blessing me with yet another year of life. His grace is sufficient for me. I thank him everyday for the wonderful family and friends, I'm a truly blessed child. I don't know how Malaysia would have been without Pam and Precious, I can't imagine! May God continue to bless them and give all the desires of their hearts.

My birthday celebration was small and worth remembering. Monkey baked for me specially, it was overwhelming felt like crying. She's always there for me every time.
Emma had long promised to get me a cake on birthday, I just took him for granted cause he's always joking and I just thought he was joking as usual. OMG! and he really got me a cake, I didn't know what say! Just thank you a billion times, Emma he is one of the friends God has blessed me with.

I had cake, cookies and sausage rolls with monkey, house mates and a few friends came over. It was terrific!

Goobye September

Goodbbye September you've been so good to me even sometimes you weren't so good, but surely i'll miss you. Now hello October hope you be good me because you're just near my birthday month which is a happy month, a month of blessings.

Miss Universe

I'm so happy that Miss Universe is from Africa and not very far from home. Leila Lopes 26 of Angola was crowned Miss Universe 2011 on the 12th of September 2011, She such a beauty. She is the fourth African to win the title since the worldwide pageant, she follows South Africa in 1978, Namibia in 1992, and Botswana in 1999 and the second African of African descent to win following Mpule Kwelagobwe, Miss Universe 1999 of Botswana.
Wherever you go you'll always have haters, just ignore them till they fade away. Miss France 2011 said her nasty, sore loser comments against our Miss Universe 2011saying she surprised at her win (actually ALL the contestants were surprised not only her),
Here are her exact words:
“She was the only girl I didn’t know very well. We didn’t see her much; she was very discreet. She was often in jeans and not wearing makeup. We were all surprised by her win. Many girls made efforts that were not rewarded. I don’t know, something is missing in her temperament. The fact that the competition was held in Brazil surely played a role.”
She is just hating on Leila what does wearing jeans and the competition being held in Brazil has to do with everything? She could have just saved herself the embarrassment and kept quiet ssssssshhhhhh Miss France go sit in the corner.

Intiball 2011

Ohh yah we had our university annual ball on the 3rd of September 2011. It was awesome, it was held at Sheraton Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. I'm back from the holidays, I went back to Botswana, it felt really good to be home, even though it was cold I've managed to meet with my whole family and friends yay ☺☺

Well I've been back for a while, we're on week 4 at the university, yah I'm back at it again. This semester I'm taking only 3 subjects, 1 from year 2 and 2 from year 3.
Advanced Corporate Reporting ✔ check all theory chapter 1-8
Corporate Governance ✔ check all theory
Principles of Corporate Finance II ✔ check theory + calculations
I hope and pray that I perform well this semester, because I came 
with a different mindset towards my studies.

Good girl gone wild!! (not wild literally) but I've done something to my hair, it's very unbelievable and unexpected. I so in ♥ with my hairstyle.

Obsession ♥♥ Il Volo

These guys can make you shed a tear when you hear them sing. I love them so much. They're called Il Volo which means "Flight". Piero Barone 17, Ignazio Boschetto 16 and Gianluca Ginoble 16, the trio started singing as toddlers. Most of their songs are in Italian and can't get a word  they say but they just sing so beautifully.

They are so cute ☺☺☺ I have nothing but mad ♥♥♥ for  Il V♥l♥

Hope you enjoy the music as much as I do. 

I'm missing home so bad right now! I just wish August would come fast. I miss my mom, my sisters, my brothers, my nieces, my nephews, my house, my friends back home. This is not healthy at all. There's a new baby in the family I can't wait to see him, I heard he's growing so fast. :-)

Dirty Lil Secret Finally Revealed

I never thought it was a secret cause I've been doing this for over a year now!  Well Monkey finally reveled the secret, lol. Well it's about this blog Urbanlife but I thought I told her about it, must have slipped  my mind sorry Monkey. Urbanlife will be going public really soon! :-)
The "Dirty Lil Secret" as Monkey called it was revealed before the song was released. Wonder how far is the song?!

Everything leopard printed  has been driving me crazy lately. From shoes to bags to dresses everything. Ain't they just cute?

Day 2 of Re:Union

On the last post was about to start on day 2 (whole day) of Re:Union, (yah we arrived late) and Pr Sam was already about to finish his message. but this is what I caught from the few minutes I was there, he talked about favoritism, that it's something that should be eliminated from the church, workplace, campuses or wherever we are. Going to the next level means getting rid of favoritism. 2Samuel 5:12 God's people matter the most, it's all about God not man.

There was another speaker named Lim Heng Seng, he was talking about the law of the time, it was interesting because I've studied a bit of law and for somebody whose clueless on law would think the talk was boring. I could relate things cause I've been to east Malaysia and I've seen the situation that side. There are a lot of Christians in  East Malaysia so the government is trying to change them or something (not too sure) initially east Malaysia was suppose to a country on it's own. (I wasn't taking notes, I'm just typing out whatever I remember). Basically they are fighting for the rights of Christians in Sarawak and Sabah.

Breakout sessions I attended the Campus Revo, led by Pr Dave. He explained the values which are conviction, courage, commitment and continuity. Campus Revo is about living out loud your christian life, loving  your campus, it's all about making a difference in your campus!

Don't stop believing...

Re:union a.k.a R3volution conference was bigger and better this year (not meaning that the previous ones weren't good). Re:union was happening from the 2-4June then we had Re:union Sunday on the 5th. The whole experience was great, was really inspired by every speaker and every event from worship to workshops to serving. I was serving the whole weekend from Thursday until Sunday, I attended all the whole day sessions it was really good. The theme for this year was TAKING IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL. On the first day during Revo P.A.R.T.Y (Preaching About Revival Through Youth) pastor Kenneth spoke, he talked on Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen" KJV He told us that God is in control of everything and wants to take us to the next level if we allow him. I like the part when he said that God doesn't work in centuries and decades nowadays he works in hours, days, weeks and months. He talked about confidence that we need to be confident in the Lord. He left us with 5 points on how to be confident 1) Encounter God 2) Employment 3) Empowerment 4) Exchange 5) Excuses ( this one happens to most us, even moses had excuses when the Lord wanted to take him to the next level by sending him to deliver His people from Egypt Exodus 3:11)
The lesson which I got from this teaching was that lack of confidence and excuses wont get us to the next level.

Day 2 hahaha well i'm laughing because we arrived late, I was with Martin the van had left us behind I blame Olerato Maleme for that.

Betrayal

Have you ever felt that you've been back stabbed, used, and your hopes have been disappointed? Well I have! But it's good not that I'm able to talk about, it was a good cause just like what pastor Kenneth preached on Re:Union Sunday that you shouldn't let disappointments break you, (lets reserve Re:Union Sunday for later). I hate being lied to, why don't just come with me, hurt my feelings if you have to don't try to reserve them by lying  please tell the truth to avoid a bigger embarrassment when finally the truth comes out at the end. The truth sets free, you can enjoy your life openly without being bothered out the lies you told some else. You can even sleep at night. Being honest makes you part of the society and people can see you as a person who can well with other people.
I hate it when people make my life a living hell and I don't want to believe that my life can be a living.
I guess this is my continuation to my last post on estrangement, tell the truth nor how hard it can be, Jesus is real and He loves you so much.

Estrangement

Estrange by dictionary definition means to turn away in feeling or affection, make unfriendly and hostile. Yah exactly what is happening to me at the moment.
 Before we were very good friends, now when we see each other you wish the earth would just open up and swallow you. Its not like I hate you or something I don't hate you I just don't want us to live hard lives wishing everyday that we don't meet along the way or anywhere. I don't want that.
I know that we divided not in good terms and everyone is living their lives however they want and sometimes it feels like I'm stopping you from being yourself because of my presence. I don't to be a hindrance in your life. There will be times when you really need something from me or I need something from you, we won't ask cause we'll be having too much pride and rather give and thus destroying whatever we'll be working on. Please at least lets come to a mutual agreement.
